Outreach Ministries at work
in the Community

St. Mary's has an active role in the community. We have supported many of the local organizations and charities, such as building a float for Elk Grove City Western Festival, supporting the WIND program, the Elk Grove Food Closet, River City Community Services, African Team Ministries, the United Thank Offering (UTO), and providing food baskets to those in need at Thanksgiving. St Mary's recently collected over $2,000 from parish members to send to Episcopal Relief & Development for the victims of hurricane Katrina. We also continue to collect items for care packages to send to our troops overseas to show our gratitude for their serving our nation and to remind them they are not forgotten.
