A celebration of new ministry
Worship Services
Every Sunday is a celebration at St. Mary's! We are glad to be in God's presence and with one another. We have three worship services each Sunday, each with it's own style:
8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite I - this is a quiet, traditional service without music. This is a meditative, beautiful service in the early morning.
10:30 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite II - this is a very upbeat service with a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Childcare is available during this service, and there is a children's chapel service for elementary aged children during the first part of the liturgy.
4:30 p.m. - Santo Niño Service - this Rite II service is especially geared to the Filipino community, with some of the worship in Tagalog and a meal following the service with Filipino food. Most of the service is in English, so that anyone can fully participate in this joyful worship. See the "Filipino Ministries" page for more information.
Sunday School for all ages takes place at 9:20 a.m. each Sunday.
Wednesday Eucharist A celebration of Holy Eucharist takes place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. It follows Rite II in the Book of Common Prayer.

New Hearing Loop System Installed for Members Who Have a Hearing Loss at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church
Those who have hearing problems no longer have to stay away from programs/services at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. The message and the music at both Sunday services as of Tuesday, October 25, 2005 are looped. The “loop” system was installed around the perimeter of the Sanctuary, allowing those having hearing aids equipped with telephone coils or “T-coils”, to turn their settings to the T-coil switch to hear the entire service from beginning to end without interruption for the first time. A similar system was also set up in the Noah Room, which is the site of many functions during the church year at St. Mary’s. The members of St. Mary’s care about those who have a hearing disability. Please contact any member of the Vestry or Jim Ray for further information about the new hearing loop system at St. Mary’s. The hearing loop system—the correct term is induction loop system—was installed by Bernie Frazelle, General Manager, of a local company called General Technologies. The company is located in Fair Oaks, CA and has been in business for some 35+ years at this location. For more specific information on this system (and other related products) check out the company’s web site at: www.devices4less.com.
Hope to see you at church on Sunday to enjoy this wonderful experience for those with hearing loss.
